Chex Most Popular Driver Voting Site Has New Look

Voters are encouraged to continue to visit the site, and vote for their favorite driver to win the 2008 NASCAR Chex Most Popular Driver Award which is administered by the National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA). Fans can vote once a day, every day for over 40 of their favorite Sprint Cup drivers. Voting continues until the end of the season and the winner will be announced at the NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Luncheon in New York City in December.

The Chex Most Popular Driver award has been won by NASCAR greats such as Richard Petty, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Dale Earnhardt and others. Last season Dale Earnhardt Jr. earned his fifth consecutive award. Only Earnhardt Jr., Petty and Bill Elliott have won the award five consecutive times since the inception of the awards in 1953.
