NASCAR photographer David Yeazell aims his lenses at NHRA
David Yeazell, noted NASCAR photographer, flew to Las Vegas from South Carolina to shoot NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series images during the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals at the The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Yeazell is a frequent contributor to Dwight Drum's Racetake.com. Drum's FYI WIRZ service accompanies many articles that spread through out the Internet sports news world.
Yeazell caught on quickly and caught some launches and burnouts in the sportsman ranks.
Yeazell also discovered females at work at the track. NHRA has more female drivers than other big sanctions, but not all who work are drivers.
Sportsman in NHRA take their fun seriously.
Race cars in NHRA aren't stuck to the track as they are most of the time in oval racing, but Yeazell was quick to catch cars trying to go fast down the straight track. David gets it.
NHRA high performance parts icon JEGS maintains visibility beyond their own race cars. Thier motto: Track Tested. We Race What We Sell!
Yellow is a popular color in drag racing.
